Basketball Recap: Fort Plain Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Dylan Keane and Owen Castellano

Fort Plain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 62-36 to the Canajoharie Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-45 back in January.

Fort Plain's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Owen Castellano, who posted 12 points, and Dylan Keane, who had nine points.

Fort Plain now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Canajoharie, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-6.

Fort Plain will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hoosic Valley at 7:00 p.m. on February 25th. As for Canajoharie, they have already played their next matchup, a 54-50 win against Cobleskill-Richmondville on the 18th.
