Recap: Greenway Demons vs. Paradise Honors Panthers
After a string of four wins, the Greenway Demons's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They were the victim of a tough 58-34 defeat at the hands of Paradise Honors. Greenway has struggled against Paradise Honors recently, as their matchup on Monday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Paradise Honors got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Morgan Van Dyke out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jaelyn Perez, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
Greenway's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-11. As for Paradise Honors, they pushed their record up to 18-4 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home.
Greenway will take on Thunderbird at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Paradise Honors, they will head out on the road to face off against Moon Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Paradise Honors is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 52.6 points per game this season.
