Volleyball Recap: Chapman Comes Up Short

Chapman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Rock Creek Mustangs. The Irish were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-17.

Callie Cook paced Chapman's offense, picking up five kills. Cook got some help from Breslyn Francis and her six assists.

Chapman's loss dropped their record down to 12-18. As for Rock Creek, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 26-4.

Chapman has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Haven on the 11th. As for Rock Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Minneapolis on the 11th.
