Basketball Recap: Marist Falls Despite Big Games from Gavin Scott and Macoy Harbert

Marist was the 51-46 winner over Pleasant Hill when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The contest between the Spartans and the Billies didn't end well, with the Spartans falling 58-39.

Marist's loss on Saturday came despite strong showings from Macoy Harbert and Gavin Scott. Harbert went 5-for-12 en route to 12 points and seven rebounds, while Scott posted five points.

Marist's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Pleasant Hill, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Marist will be home for the holidays to greet Pendleton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pleasant Hill will wrap up 2025 with a road trip to face off against Burns at 2:30 p.m. on the 29th.
