Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 276th, while the Jaguars are ranked 594th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

St. Mary's got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Vincent Arnaudo out in front who posted ten points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of William Weathington, who went 6 of 10 on his way to 16 points.

St. Mary's smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in five consecutive games.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Lodi over West in every quarter on their way to victory on Monday. Lodi was the clear victor by a 64-42 margin over West.

Lodi pushed their record up to 10-6 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.0 points per game. As for St. Mary's, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season.
