Maggie Austin Game Report: vs Green Hope

Apex found a leader in Maggie Austin as the team took down Green Hope on Wednesday. Austin did her part (and then some), scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3 for the 'W'. She also put up a triple, which was her first of the season.

Austin and Apex will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Holly Springs at 6:00 p.m. on April 8. Apex will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 101 places lower in North Carolina), but they're not letting that get them down.
