Basketball Game Preview: Taft Senators vs. Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy Eagles

Having just played yesterday, the Taft Senators will head out on the road to face off against the Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Tuesday, Taft was able to grind out a solid win over Withrow, taking the game 60-53. Given the Senators' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 112th, while the Tigers are ranked 487th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy really took it to Miami Valley Christian Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 76-49 victory. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 22 points or more this season.

Taft has also been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 14-3.

Taft skirted past Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy 87-85 in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy's Luke Sanders, who went 14 for 31 on his way to 40 points.
