Baseball Recap: Hamilton Takes a Loss

Hamilton was the 5-1 winner over Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Bobcats fell 6-3 to the Mustangs on Friday.

Joey Alvarez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

Hamilton has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season.

Hamilton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-0 defeat against California Lutheran on the 14th. As for Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 6-3 victory against San Jacinto Leadership Academy on the 14th.
