Football Recap: Northwestern Comes Up Short

Northwestern lost against Graham Local back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors were outmatched by the Falcons and fell 48-21. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 355th, while the Falcons are ranked 137th).

Northwestern's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Graham Local, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Coming up, Northwestern will face off against North Union at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Graham Local, they will challenge Shawnee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons will be up against the Braves' rather soft defense (which has allowed 38.14 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
