Softball Game Preview: Mt. Pleasant Kilties vs. Juanita Sanchez Complex Cavaliers

Mt. Pleasant is 1-8-1 against Juanita Sanchez Complex since April of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Kilties will venture away from home to face off against the Cavaliers at 4:00 p.m. Mt. Pleasant has given up an average of 18.3 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Mt. Pleasant is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 22nd straight game dating back to last season on Wednesday. They came up short against Tiverton, falling 16-0.

The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in hits (three). Julisa Smith was another key player, getting on base in all seven of her plate appearances with four stolen bases, six runs, and one double.

Juanita Sanchez Complex's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-9. As for Mt. Pleasant, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.
