Volleyball Recap: Parry Mccluer's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

If Parry McCluer was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Highland on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Fighting Blues fell just short of the Bath County Chargers by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Fighting Blues were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Chargers earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Parry McCluer's loss ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-10. As for Bath County, their victory bumped their record up to 20-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Parry McCluer will head out to face off against Giles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Fighting Blues surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bath County, they will head out on the road to square off against Auburn at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
