            Baseball Recap: Clarion-Limestone Lions vs. Keystone Panthers        
        
		
        
        
            It was a proper cat-fight when Clarion-Limestone challenged Keystone on Monday. The Lions fell just short of the Panthers by a score of  4-3. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in May of 2024.
 Clarion-Limestone saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Casey Kemmer, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  run.  Aiden Coulson was another,  going 1-for-2 with one  run and one  double.
This is the second loss in a row for Clarion-Limestone and  nudges their season record down to 5-10. As for Keystone, their win  ended  a  seven-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 2-12.
 Coming up, Clarion-Limestone will host Moniteau  at 4:15  p.m.  on Thursday. The Lions are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. Keystone has  already played their next  contest (against Allegheny-Clarion Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
