Softball Recap: Cleveland Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Cleveland's offense. They lost 10-0 to the New Caney Eagles on Friday. The Indians have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Cleveland's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for New Caney, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7-2 record this season.

Cleveland wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 10-0 defeat against Conroe on the 22nd. As for New Caney, they have also already played their next game, a 19-9 loss against College Park on the 22nd.
