Baseball Recap: Fennville Comes Up Short

Kellogg hit Fennville with a five-run first inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Blackhawks came up short against the Panthers, falling 11-1.

Fennville saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hayden Harris, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Fennville has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's still a better percentage than their 6-20 record this season. As for Kellogg, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-11.

While Fennville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
