After a string of three wins, Bexley's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 53-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buckeye Valley Barons. The Lions were probably out for revenge after losing 59-42 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bexley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Buckeye Valley, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Bexley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 46-33 loss against Bishop Ready on the 17th. As for Buckeye Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 63-34 victory against Worthington Christian on the 17th.
