Basketball Recap: Monarch Comes Up Short

Monarch played against Preuss UCSD and lost via forfeit.

Monarch is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6. As for Preuss UCSD, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Monarch will venture away from home to square off against Castle Park at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Preuss UCSD, they will head out to take on Horizon Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
