Rutgers Prep hadn't done well against Delaware Valley recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Argonauts walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Terriers. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Rutgers Prep was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-14.

Anushka Gubbala was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had six digs and five aces. Laela Domanski was another key player, getting seven digs and three aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Rutgers Prep was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. They are a perfect 7-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Rutgers Prep's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Delaware Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Rutgers Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Gill St. Bernard's on the 30th. As for Delaware Valley, they will take on New Providence at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
