Recap: Ironton Fighting Tigers vs. Fairview Eagles
Even though the Fairview Eagles scored an imposing 69 points on Saturday, the Ironton Fighting Tigers still came out on top. Ironton blew past Fairview 95-69.
Braden Schreck had a dynamite game for Ironton, scoring 37 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Another player making a difference was Tyler Roach, who scored 17 points.
Ironton's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Fairview, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Ironton will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Chesapeake at 7:30 p.m. Chesapeake and Ironton are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. Fairview will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Lawrence County at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th. One thing working in Lawrence County's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
