TPLS Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by the Central Pointe Christian Academy National White Tigers 82-48. On the bright side, the 48- point performance marked the Lions' highest-scoring contest to date.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Central Pointe Christian Academy National to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sofia Acuna, who posted ten points along with eight assists and six boards. Another player making a difference was Gabriela Escobar, who earned 14 points.

TPLS Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

TPLS Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Shining Stars Sports Academy at 12:00 p.m. on the 18th. As for Central Pointe Christian Academy National, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-9 victory against Varsity Opponent on the 6th.
