Baseball Recap: Antioch Sequoits vs. Round Lake Panthers

Antioch waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 win over the Round Lake Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-0 on Monday.

Antioch got a great performance from Jack Majerowski as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over five innings pitched. What's more, Majerowski posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2024.

On the hitting side, Nathan Yeager was excellent, going a perfect 1-for-1 with three stolen bases and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March.
