Soccer Game Preview: Decatur vs. Graham

The Decatur Eagles will face off against the Graham Steers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Decatur is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Decatur's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Bridgeport as Decatur made off with a 3-0 win. Considering the Eagles have won nine contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, Graham was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to Burkburnett. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Steers came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 335th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 693rd).

Graham has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-5 record this season. Decatur pushed their record up to 15-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Everything went Decatur's way against Graham when the teams last played two weeks ago, as Decatur made off with a 4-0 win. Will Decatur repeat their success, or does Graham have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
