Volleyball Recap: Udall Comes Up Short

It was a Battle of the Birds when Udall duked it out with Caldwell on Saturday. The Eagles fell 2-0 to the Bluejays. The Eagles have struggled against the Bluejays recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

While Udall was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-23.

Lilly Hoffman paced Udall's offense, picking up five kills. Hoffman got some help from Brilee Pellegrini and her four assists.

Udall's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Caldwell, their win ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 7-10.

Udall didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Oxford on the 27th. As for Caldwell, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Cunningham on the 27th.
