Basketball Recap: Leggett Comes Up Short

Leggett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 63-50 to the Chester Yellowjackets. The Pirates were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Yellowjackets earlier this season, when they won 60-53.

Leggett's loss dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Chester, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-12.

Leggett wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 76-57 defeat against Hull-Daisetta on the 28th. Chester has also already played their next game, an 84-29 loss against Brookeland on the 28th.
