Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carroll County). Their defense stepped up to hand the Owen County Rebels an 8-0 shutout on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what Carroll County needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Carroll County pushed their record up to 6-6-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those three matches. As for Owen County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.
