Oakland Tech is a perfect 10-0 against Oakland since September of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bulldogs are taking a road trip to take on the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Oakland Tech comes in on three and Oakland on four.

Meanwhile, Oakland beat McClymonds 3-1 on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 29-27, 20-25, 25-17.

Oakland Tech's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Oakland, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.

Oakland Tech took their win against Oakland in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
