Herndon barely beat Yorktown the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Hornets never let the Patriots get on the board and left with a 3-0 win on Friday. The result was nothing new for Herndon, who have now won four matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Herndon has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-4-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four games. As for Yorktown, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4-4.

Looking ahead, Herndon will face off against Lake Braddock at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Yorktown, they will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Woodson at 7:00 p.m.
