Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Toreion Brooks stepped things up a notch to give Canal Winchester the 'W'. Brooks rushed for 70 yards and one TD on only six carries. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2024.

Brooks and Canal Winchester will take on Groveport-Madison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will pit Brooks up against the Cruisers' star rusher Josiyah Foster.
