Soccer Recap: Bourgeois Takes a Loss

After flying high against Morgan City last Saturday, Bourgeois came back down to earth. The Bourgeois Braves came up short against the E.D. White Cardinals on Monday, falling 8-1. The loss continues a trend for the Braves in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now lost five in a row.

Bourgeois now has a losing record at 11-12-1. As for E.D. White, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8-2 record this season.

Both are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Bourgeois will square off against Mt. Carmel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for E.D. White, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the E.D. White take on the Morgan City at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. E.D. White is facing Morgan City at the right time seeing as Morgan City is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
