Softball Recap: Seton Takes a Loss

Seton fell victim to Mount Notre Dame and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mount Notre Dame. The Saints have struggled against Mount Notre Dame recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Seton's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Mount Notre Dame, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seton will take on Little Miami at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Saints' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Mount Notre Dame, they will be playing at home against St. Ursula Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Mount Notre Dame surely won't give up without a fight.
