Softball Recap: Hanover Has No Trouble Against North Quincy

Hanover won the last time they faced North Quincy and things went their way on Saturday too. The Hawks blew past the Raiders 19-1. Considering the Hawks have won four matches by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Hanover pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for North Quincy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Hanover will challenge Whitman-Hanson Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. As for North Quincy, they will welcome Durfee at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
