Umpqua Valley Christian posted their closest win since December 21, 2024 on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Bandon Tigers 32-29. This was payback for the Monarchs, who suffered a 68-18 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Umpqua Valley Christian's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Bandon, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.

Umpqua Valley Christian will head out to challenge Glendale at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bandon, they will welcome Reedsport at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
