Volleyball Recap: Central Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Central and Cass Tech squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Central had to settle for second. They came up short against the Technicians, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trail Blazers of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-3, 25-12.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Cass Tech, the win snapped their losing streak at five matches and leaves them with a 15-21-1 record.

Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cass Tech, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Mumford on the 23rd.
