Football Recap: Rylen Dutka's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Steinbrenner over Plant + How To Watch

Steinbrenner extended their losing streak to nine on Friday, dropping them down to 1-9. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 17-13 heartbreaker at the hands of the Plant Panthers. Despite 99 more yards than the Panthers, the Warriors couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Steinbrenner lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Rylen Dutka, who threw for 216 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 50 yards. Steinbrenner's leading receiver Jaydon Page was Dutka's top target yet again, picking up 87 receiving yards and one score.

Even if they lost, Steinbrenner's defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece. They got some further help from Alden Burgett: he picked up a sack and made ten total tackles.

As for Plant, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-5. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 13 points in those games.

The critical scores for Plant came from Charlie Sansone and Darryon Williams.
