Recap: Somerville Highlanders vs. Revere Patriots
The Somerville Highlanders fell victim to the Revere Patriots''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were dealt a 36-0 defeat at the hands of the Patriots. Somerville has struggled against Revere recently, as their match on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Samuel De Souza threw for 112 yards on seven of 16 attempts. Lucas Brito was his top target, picking up 47 receiving yards and no touchdowns.
Somerville's defeat on Friday dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Revere, they made their fans wait, but they finally earned their first win of the season and are now 1-5.
Somerville will look to defend their home field on Friday against Lynn English at 6:00 p.m. As for Revere, they will head out on the road to face off against Lynn Classical at 3:00 p.m. on October 21st. Lynn Classical comes into the match much higher ranked than Revere in Massachusetts (Lynn Classical is ranked 75th, while Revere is ranked 219th).
