Lead-Deadwood posted their closest win since September 4th on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Wall Eagles 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in September.

Lead-Deadwood had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-21, 25-20.

Lead-Deadwood has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-13 record this season. As for Wall, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.

Lead-Deadwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against New Underwood on the 4th. As for Wall, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Belle Fourche on the 4th.
