Baseball Recap: Warren/Stockton Comes Up Short

Warren/Stockton fell victim to Byron and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 10-0. The Warhawks haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Warren/Stockton's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Byron, they pushed their record up to 24-4 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Warren/Stockton will head out on the road to face off against Lena-Winslow at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Warhawks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Byron, they will host Dixon at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Dukes & Duchesses have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season.
