Soccer Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Tallmadge Blue Devils. The game got a bit rough at times, as the refs handed out a total of five yellow cards before it was all over.

Roosevelt hit Tallmadge with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Payton Crocker, Josiah Atanga, and Simon Hassler.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-3. As for Tallmadge, their win bumped their record up to 6-7-2.

Roosevelt does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tallmadge, they will head out to square off against Rocky River at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
