Basketball Recap: Prince of Peace Eagles vs. All Saints Episcopal Trojans

The Prince of Peace Eagles had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They put the hurt on All Saints Episcopal with a sharp 49-25 victory. Prince of Peace has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Aria Jefferson was her usual excellent self, scoring 25 points. That makes it nine consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Prince of Peace's points. Naomi White was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds and five assists.

Despite the loss, All Saints Episcopal still got an impressive performance from Ceci Torres, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Janssen Chisholm, who scored five points along with four steals.

Prince of Peace's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for All Saints Episcopal, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Prince of Peace will head out on the road to challenge the Chargers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Dallas Christian will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak. As for All Saints Episcopal, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Covenant comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last six games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
