Baseball Recap: Blackfoot Broncos vs. Skyline Grizzlies
If Blackfoot was feeling good fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Shelley on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Broncos fell just short of the Skyline Grizzlies by a score of 12-11 on Saturday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (ten), the Broncos still had to take the loss.
Conner Cannon made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Nash Randall, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run.
Blackfoot's loss dropped their record down to 19-10. As for Skyline, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.
