IDEA Edinburg College Prep waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They secured a 37-33 W over Vanguard Academy Mozart. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 72-34 back in November of 2024.

Vanguard Academy Mozart lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Carlos Alvarez, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Brandon Contreras, who put up seven points.

IDEA Edinburg College Prep's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-8. As for Vanguard Academy Mozart, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
