Basketball Recap: Rapid River Takes a Loss

Rapid River lost against North Central back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rapid River Rockets fell 36-25 to the North Central Jets. The Rockets just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Rapid River's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for North Central, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 1-17.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rapid River will challenge North Dickinson at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for North Central, they will square off against Bark River-Harris at 7:45 p.m. on Monday. The timing isn't great for North Central: they have been struggling with nine straight losses at home dating back to last season, while Bark River-Harris has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
