Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Ashlan Neugent and Ava Azcuy Lead Palmetto Ridge to Victory + How To Watch

Palmetto Ridge won the last time they faced Bonita Springs and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bears came out on top against the Bullsharks by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

Palmetto Ridge had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 13-25, 25-20, 26-24, 25-11.

Palmetto Ridge was led to victory by Ava Azcuy and Ashlan Neugent. Azcuy had 20 digs, while Neugent had 34 assists. Those 34 assists gave Neugent a new career-high.

Palmetto Ridge now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Bonita Springs, their loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-14.
