Baseball Recap: Southeast Comes Up Short

Southeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 13-3 to the Booker Tornadoes. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Seminoles have suffered against the Tornadoes since April 7, 2021.

Brian Herrera was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing four bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Southeast's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Booker, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season.

Southeast does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Booker, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 5-4 loss against Seminole on the 15th.
