Recap: Ben Lomond Scots vs. Ogden Tigers
The Ben Lomond Scots suffered their biggest loss since December 7, 2023 on Wednesday. They were the victim of a rough 78-56 loss at the hands of Ogden. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Wednesday (55), Ben Lomond still had to take the loss.
Jake East and Jonathan Alcarez certainly did their best on Wednesday to try and avoid the loss. East scored 17 points along with six rebounds and two steals, while Alcarez scored 11 points along with three blocks. Alcarez hasn't dropped below two blocks for three straight games.
Ben Lomond has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Ogden, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ben Lomond will take on Grantsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Grantsville and three for Ben Lomond. As for Ogden, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Union at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
