Basketball Game Preview: Ocoee Knights vs. Worth County Rams

The Ocoee Knights and the Worth County Rams will round out the year against one another at at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Ocoee is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Horizon 84-62 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Knights have posted since February 6th.

Meanwhile, Worth County blew past Cook, posting a 98-25 win. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 255th, while the Hornets are ranked 524th), the result on Saturday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ocoee better keep an eye on ASHTON WILLIAMS. He was instrumental in Worth County's win, almost dropping a double-double on ten points and nine assists. WILLIAMS is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted eight or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of JAMES RAYMOND, who posted eight points.

Ocoee has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for Worth County, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.
