Soccer Recap: Hanna Takes a Loss

Hanna lost against Harlingen back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hanna Golden Eagles lost 9-0 to the Harlingen Cardinals. While losing is never fun, the Golden Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 483rd, while the Cardinals are ranked 125th).

This is the second loss in a row for Hanna and nudges their season record down to 5-9. As for Harlingen, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Hanna and Harlingen will both be playing Los Fresnos the next time they take the pitch. Harlingen will host Los Fresnos at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Hanna will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on March 7th.
