Minarets had lost five games straight , but after bumping their record up to 8-15 on Wednesday that streak is in the rearview. They blew past the Madera South Stallions 13-3. The Mustangs' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Minarets got a great performance from Logan Meyer as he pitched five innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. Meyer also tossed a walk, which is notable because the Mustangs are 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 6-14 otherwise.
