Basketball Recap: Mt. Vernon Comes Up Short

After flying high against Washington last Tuesday, Mt. Vernon came back down to earth. The Mt. Vernon Mustangs fell to the Keokuk Chiefs 51-47.

Mt. Vernon's loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Keokuk, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Mt. Vernon nor Keokuk have any future games scheduled.
