Volleyball Recap: Northridge Grizzlies vs. Thompson Valley Eagles
Northridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Thompson Valley Eagles, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Grizzlies of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.
The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-13, 25-10.
Sophia Carbajal paced Northridge's offense, picking up four kills. Carbajal were helped by Ella Burkholder and Dalanie Jones, who contributed three assists each. Finally, Carbajal was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.
