Basketball Game Preview: Twinsburg Tigers vs. Lutheran West Longhorns

The Twinsburg Tigers will venture away from home to square off against the Lutheran West Longhorns at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Twinsburg will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Last Saturday, it was close, but Twinsburg sidestepped Wadsworth for a 52-50 win. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 279th, while the Grizzlies are ranked 583rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, everything went Lutheran West's way against University School on Friday as Lutheran West made off with a 75-55 victory.

Lutheran West has also been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.8 points per game. As for Twinsburg, they pushed their record up to 8-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.
